Providers

Katie Larimer-Redmond, NP-C

Katie is a graduate of UC Davis and Samuel Merritt University, completing a master’s as a Nurse Practitioner with a focus in Family Practice. She is board certified in Family Practice as well as in Palliative Care.

Katie started her nursing career in the ICU, as a registered nurse. In 2012, Katie joined the Palliative Care team at Lodi Health as a Nurse Practitioner. She has been with SHOMG since 2015 and loves working with our patients and their families.

When not in clinic, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.

Kathi Gardner, FNP-C

Kathi is board certified in Family Practice and Palliative Care. She received her Master’s of Science Degree as a Nurse Practitioner from Sonoma State University in 2011 but has been practicing as a Registered Nurse since 1981. She specializes in symptom management and providing a holistic approach to patient care.

Kathi’s spare-time is filled with activities with her family which includes two adult sons and four grandchildren. Her two favorite passions are hiking anywhere (especially the sierras) and attending live theatre productions.

Kelly Morrill, FNP

Kelly Morrill is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. After 9 years of working in Emergency Medicine, Kelly started working at Stockton Hematology Oncology Medical Groupas an NP in 2016 after completing her MSN at Holy Names University.

Kelly is currently working part time at the SHOMG location in Tracy.

Marcy Goldberg, AOCNP, FNP

Marcy earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ohio Wesleyan University, Riverside School of Nursing in Delaware, Ohio. She graduated Cum Laude and was the founding member of the Ohio Wesleyan University Honor Society of Nursing.

Marcy went on to graduate from California State University Sacramento where she received her Master of Science in Nursing, she was a member of Sigma Theta Tau and was part of the Nursing Honors Society.

In 1992, Marcy was licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant from the University of California, Davis.

Marcy is licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner, ANA certified Specialist and holds the Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner license as well. She has over 42 years of direct patient care.

Marcy has 2 children and 4 grandchildren, she absolutely loves being a grandma and spending time with her family. In her spare time, she loves to travel, the beach, and her amazing dogs.

Karen Natsuhara, MSN, FNP-BC, AOCNP

Karen is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Advanced Oncology Nurse Practitioner who most recently has been working at the UC Davis Cancer Center in Sacramento since 2015, specializing in breast, endocrine, melanoma and sarcoma cancers. She is passionate about the field of oncology and is dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to her patients. She is a graduate of UC Davis, UCLA School of Nursing and Samuel Merritt University where she earned a Master of Science degree in Nursing, Family Practice in 1989.

She has over 20 years of experience as an NP and has previously worked as an ICU and ER RN at St. Joseph’s and UCLA Medical Centers. She also loves spending time with her husband, two children and their families and watching all her grandchildren’s sporting events! She enjoys traveling, the beach, gardening, cooking, hiking and cheering on the Giants and Warriors. Her son is an orthopedic surgeon at Alpine Orthopedics and her daughter is an oncologist at UCSF.

Physician Assistants

Josephine Appeng, PA

Josephine Appeng is a board-certified Physician Assistant (PA). She completed her undergraduate studies at San Joaquin Delta College and UC Davis with a major in Cell Biology. She received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree (MPAS) from the University of the Pacific Physician Assistant Program in Sacramento. Her prior clinical experiences include working as a medical scribe in the Emergency Department, Pediatric Endocrinology, ENT, Pediatric Urology, Hospitalist Medicine, and Bariatric medicine. She has had prior experiences in clinical research and working as a certified nursing assistant.

She is passionate about educating others as well as teaching and empowering patients and their families in understanding and managing their health. She is committed to delivering optimal and compassionate care to the community.

Josephine was born in Southern California but lived in Canada for 10 years before returning to California. In her spare time, she enjoys learning the guitar, singing, watching stand-up and late-night comedy shows, reading, cooking, hiking, practicing yoga and kickboxing. Many have recounted her legendary prowess as a world-renown lemur tamer and skilled underwater basket weaver. She is an avid traveler and enjoys new adventures, having traveled to various countries including Japan, Cambodia, France, Germany, and Mexico. She endeavors to travel, see, and learn more about the world.

Czarinabelle Perez, PA

Czarinabelle Perez is a board certified Physician Assistant who obtained her Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree from the University of the Pacific in Sacramento. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Arizona State University and a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. With extensive clinical experience as a pharmacy technician, certified nursing assistant, and medical scribe in the emergency department and various outpatient pediatric specialties, Czarinabelle combines her comprehensive clinical knowledge with a deep commitment to delivering compassionate care to all her patients.

Czarinabelle was born in the Philippines and has lived in Nevada, Arizona, and Southern California. Beyond medicine, she loves to cook and bake, travel, go on long walks, and spend quality time with friends and family.

Eden Khristine Gines, PA-C

Eden Khristine Gines is a board-certified Physician Assistant (PA-C). She completed her undergraduate studies in Cell and Molecular Biology at San Francisco State University and earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies degree from Bay Path University. Her prior clinical experience includes working as a medical assistant in ENT/Allergy. As a Hodgkin’s lymphoma survivor who underwent a stem cell transplant, she brings a deeply personal perspective to oncology care. She is passionate about supporting patients through every stage of their journey.

Her own health experience has strengthened her dedication to combining evidence-based medicine with empathy, ensuring that patients feel understood, supported, and empowered in their care. She is committed to providing thoughtful, compassionate treatment that addresses both the medical and human sides of oncology.

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, she enjoys spending her free time binge-watching TV shows and movies with her partner and their dog, staying active through group fitness classes, spending time with friends and family, and exploring new restaurants and food spots.
